VistaVerde Abandoned Dog Sanctuary rescues stray dogs and gives them a forever home in rural Ecuador.

Some arrive as puppies. Others find their way here after difficult lives on the streets.

Each has a story, a personality and a place in our family.

We believe every dog deserves safety, kindness, good food and a place to call home.

A Place to Call Home

VistaVerde began with a simple belief:

Abandoned dogs deserve better.

Here in rural Ecuador, we've created a place where dogs can live safely, enjoy the company of other dogs and receive the care they need. Some find new families, while most spend the rest of their lives here.

Every one of them belongs.

Every Little Bit Makes a Difference

Looking after a large family of abandoned dogs takes a lot of love, hard work and resources.

Your donations help provide food, veterinary care, medicines, sterilization and improvements to the dogs' home.

Whether you can give a little or a lot, your contribution helps us keep giving these dogs the safe, loving home they deserve.

Every Dog Has a Story

Every dog who finds a home at VistaVerde has a story worth telling.

The VistaVerde Dog Rescue Stories is a growing collection of books sharing the real-life journeys of the dogs who have become part of our family.

From difficult beginnings to new friendships, unexpected adventures and the discovery of a safe place to call home, these stories celebrate the real lives of our dogs.

Our first book is currently in development. We look forward to sharing these stories with you.
